3tbspmaple syrupcan use brown sugar or any other sweetener
½cupfinely grated carrot
1tspcinnamon*or additional spices
1 ½cupmilk I used almond
½cupvanilla yogurt
2tbspfinely chopped walnutsplus additional whole walnuts for topping
Instructions
Place oats, chia seeds, carrots, walnuts, milk and sweetener in a bowl. Combine with a spoon or whisk until everything is mixed in.
Place in mason jars (approx. 250-300ml / 8-10oz) cover and place in the fridge overnight or for a minimum of 4 hours.
Top with a layer of yogurt and whole walnuts to serve.
Notes
Store covered in the fridge for 3-5 days. If adding toppings, do this before eating.Add additional milk to loosen the oats if they've thickened too much.*add other spices like ginger, clove or nutmeg for more spiced flavor
